Afghan Voice Agency(AVA): Amir Khan Muttaqi, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate, met and talked with Markus Potzel, Head of the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan, yesterday, Thursday (September 22).
Muttaqi said in this meeting: "Strong measures will be taken for the security of all diplomatic institutions, including the United Nations, and facilities will be considered for the employees of political agencies to travel."
The foreign minister of the Islamic Emirate considered the policy of Afghanistan's ruling body to be a constructive interaction with the world and stated that the United Nations can play an important role in this regard.
These statements are despite the fact that an explosion occurred in front of the Russian Embassy in Kabul a few weeks ago, and the Russian Foreign Ministry has announced that 2 diplomats of this country were killed in this incident.
Regarding this attack, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, stated that a suicide bomber near the Russian embassy in the 7th district of Kabul wanted to blow himself up in the crowd but before reaching the destination, he was targeted by the security forces.
