Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Nisar Ahmad Ahmadi, the deputy governor of Badakhshan, told Ava: Amanuddin Mansour, the governor of Badakhshan province, along with the delegation of the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Defense, today (Saturday, 26th of August) to survey the Silk Road in Wakhan district.
According to him, after the survey, the work of the Badakhshan Silk Road will begin in the near future.
Ahmadi said that during today's trip, the Silk Road from Ashkashim district to Kotel Shawar near Wakhan Pamirs was examined and surveyed.
The deputy governor of Badakhshan added that the opening of the Silk Road was the wish of the people of this province and the Islamic Emirate is also determined to open it.
This is despite the fact that in the past, the commercial property of the country was transferred to China through this highway, which played a significant role in both countries from the point of view of economic growth.
The deputy governor of Badakhshan also said that after the completion of its work, this road will be used as before.
According to him, after the survey, the work of the Badakhshan Silk Road will begin in the near future.
