China's special envoy for Afghanistan has announced his meeting with the Director General of Western Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In this meeting, the two sides discussed the cooperation of neighboring countries and the region for peace, stability and development in Afghanistan.
​​​​Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Yuxiao Yong, China's special envoy to Afghanistan, announced on his Twitter account yesterday (Wednesday, February 22) that he met Sayed Rasul Mousavi, Director General of Western Asia of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
 
Mr. Jung said that both sides discussed the cooperation of neighboring countries and the region for peace, stability and development in Afghanistan.
 
This is despite the fact that two days ago, the special representative of the Iranian president for Afghanistan affairs and the head of the Iranian embassy in Kabul met and talked with the special representative of China for Afghanistan affairs.
 
Hassan Kazemi Qomi announced this in a tweet and wrote: In line with the implementation of the decisions made in the recent meeting between the presidents of Iran and China, today I had a sincere and constructive meeting with the special representative of China for Afghanistan affairs.
 
In this conversation, the development of Beijing-Tehran cooperation in the field of Afghanistan was emphasized with the aim of creating lasting peace and stability in this country, and the solutions for the implementation of cooperation were discussed.
