The Afghan Red Crescent Society has helped more than 1 million women
The Afghan Red Crescent Society says that it has provided cash and non-cash assistance to 1,137,810 women across Afghanistan in the past year.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Afghan Red Crescent Society has published a newsletter and said that 5,616,000 Afghanis have been given monthly cash assistance to 2,808 members of beggar women's families.
 
The Afghan Red Crescent society adds: in the health sector, it has provided health services for more than 2 million women.
 
However, Maulavi Mati-ul-Haq Khalis, head of the Afghan Red Crescent Society, said in a meeting with Tariq Ali Bakhit, the representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and his accompanying delegation that the Afghan Red Crescent Society is trying to provide job opportunities for the needy, homeless women, and the disabled through vocational training.
 
Mr. Khalis has asked the representatives of this organization to cooperate with the Afghan Red Crescent Society in order to help the needy, beggars and treat patients with a hole in the heart.
