The number of Afghan victims of the ship accident on the coast of Italy increased to 91 people
The Afghan Embassy in Italy has recently announced that the number of Afghan victims of the sinking of a ship carrying refugees on the coast of Italy has increased to 91. Earlier, the officials of the Afghan embassy in Rome said that 32 of the victims of this incident are Afghans.
​Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The Afghan embassy in Rome has reported an increase in the number of victims of the shipwreck carrying refugees in Italy. In a statement, the embassy said that 91 of the victims of this incident are Afghan citizens.
 
According to the Afghan Embassy in Italy, the bodies of 48 people have been identified and death certificates have been issued for 46 people.
 
The Afghan embassy in Rome said earlier that 32 victims of the shipwreck in southern Italy are Afghan immigrants.
 
This embassy said that there were probably about 180 people on this ship.
 
Earlier, the Islamic Emirate had issued a statement asking the aid agencies to transfer the bodies of these victims to Afghanistan.
 
It should be mentioned that last week, a ship carrying asylum seekers had an accident off the coast of Italy, and nearly 200 people died after the ship sank.
