Opening of a chicken slaughterhouse with a cost of one million dollars in Balkh province

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Mazar-e-Sharif: Aziz Ahmad Nasiri, the concessionaire of this chicken slaughterhouse, said that nearly one million US dollars has been invested in the purchase of equipment and the repair of this place.

 

According to him: "In order to keep our city clean and to prevent contamination of any part of the city with chicken blood, this chicken butchery center was built."

 

The person in charge of this slaughterhouse, saying that all the health points are observed in this place, says that this slaughterhouse has the capacity to slaughter 90 tons of chicken per day.

 

Meanwhile, the local officials in Balkh province consider the establishment of this chicken slaughterhouse as important for the health status of the residents of this province and ask other businessmen to invest in this sector.
 

Before this, the public slaughterhouse of Balkh Province was opened in the presence of the Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and local government officials in this province.

 

It should be remembered that now, in terms of slaughtering, health issues and the environmental situation, the contamination of the Mandavi area of the city of Mazar-e-Sharif with chicken blood has caused many problems for the residents of this city.
