Rescuing 23 Afghan citizens from human traffickers in Peru
The officials of the "Peru" country in South America have said that they rescued 23 Afghan citizens from human traffickers along the country's border with Brazil.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The office of the Supreme Court of Peru has said in a statement that the authorities of this country rescued 23 Afghan citizens from human traffickers along the border with Brazil on Sunday.

According to Amo, the statement added that these migrants were told that they would be transferred to a city near the border and then go to Lima, the capital, and then to Tumbes, a city near Peru's northern border with Ecuador.
 
Meanwhile, hundreds of Afghan citizens risk their lives every month to reach America through Latin America. In some cases, they travel in 11 countries and are at risk of becoming victims of kidnappers and thieves.
