The 8th specialized exhibition of Iranian businessmen, with the aim of expanding commercial and economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan, was opened yesterday Thursday (July 20) in Herat province with the presence of 20 different manufacturing and industrial companies from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Herat: During the opening ceremony of this exhibition, Mohammad Seddiqi Far, head of the Consul of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Herat, said: In this exhibition, the products of 20 Iranian companies are displayed for four days.
He also added: In the current situation, economic relations between the two countries are very important, and holding such exhibitions can be effective for strengthening economic relations between Iran and Afghanistan.
Maulavi Sirat, head of industry and trade in Herat, also said at the opening ceremony of this exhibition: Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan wants good economic relations, including Iran, with all neighboring countries.
Meanwhile, Maulavi Nisar Ahmad Ilyas, the spokesperson of the Herat province official, says that Herat's local administration will not spare any efforts to the best of its ability in providing a suitable environment for domestic and foreign investors.
He also emphasized that currently the security conditions in the country have improved and foreign businessmen can easily invest in Herat.
It is said that this exhibition will be held in Herat after three years. The first day of this exhibition has met with a warm welcome from the interested people, especially the officials of the private sector of this province.
It should be mentioned that products such as food, plastic, kitchen appliances, medicine, paint, aluminum and steel are displayed in this exhibition.
