Establishing a committee to solve drinking water problems in the capital
In the meeting of the Acting Minister of Water and Energy with the officials of the Union of Private Water Supply Companies of Kabul City, it was agreed that a specific committee from the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Directorate of Water Supply and the Union of Private Companies will work together to solve problems and find ways to solve the drinking water problem of the capital.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Acting Minister of Water and Energy in a meeting talked with the officials of the Union of Private Water Supply Companies in Kabul about solving the problems of water shortage.
 
Gholam Jilan Haqparast, the head of information and publications of the Ministry of Energy and Water, told Bakhtar: In this meeting, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Water and Energy, and Mojibur Rahman Omar Akhundzada, Deputy Minister of Water of the Ministry, met with the officials and members of the Kabul Private Water Supply Company Union. They discussed and exchanged opinions about the problems of lack of drinking water in the city of Kabul and the implementation of possible solutions to solve these problems.
 
In this meeting, the officials of the aforementioned union shared their problems and suggestions with the leadership of the Ministry of Water and Energy and stated that this union is cooperating with the Ministry of Water and Energy in order to solve the problems of providing drinking water to the citizens of Kabul and prevent its excessive use.
 
At the same time, the Acting Minister of Water and Energy reminded of the vital importance of Kabul's drinking water issue that the Ministry of Water and Energy has taken practical measures to supply drinking water to Kabul city according to short-term and long-term plans, and this issue has also been discussed in the Cabinet. A serious case has been raised so that necessary decisions can be made about it.
 
Acting Minister of Water and Energy and Deputy Minister of Water each in turn emphasized that in order to solve the problems of lack of drinking water in Kabul city and to prevent its excessive use, it is necessary that in addition to the government, water supply companies and people also fulfill their responsibilities. Avoid excessive use of water.
 
Recently, it was agreed that a specific committee from the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Directorate of Water Supply and the Union of Private Companies should work together to solve problems and find ways to solve this problem, in order to supply drinking water to the city of Kabul and Necessary measures should be taken to prevent excessive use of water.
