A statement of the Provincial Directorate for Information and Culture said that, police have discovered more than half kg of heroin and arrested two persons on the charge of involvement in drug trafficking in Afghanistan's Nimroz province.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Police personnel found 530 gram heroin from a man and 60 gram heroin from the other man in the provincial capital Zaranj city on Wednesday, the statement said.
Both the arrested men had been referred to the judiciary for more investigation, it said.
