Kepa Arrizabalaga joined Real Madrid on loan
Chelsea's Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has joined Real Madrid on a season-long loan for €1 million to replace Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who recently suffered a torn cruciate ligament.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Real Madrid Club, Monday, August 14, 2023, officially announced that it has reached an agreement with Chelsea Club regarding the loan transfer of Kepa with a contract until the end of June 2024.
 
After four years of leaving Spain, Kepa Arrizabalaga returns to Spain and LaLiga competitions. He joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao in June 2019 and won the European Champions League, Club World Cup, Super Cup and Europa League with the London Blues.
 
Capa, who won the 2023 UEFA Nations League with Spain's national soccer team, will attend a press conference on Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. local time in Spain.
 
Real Madrid started the new season of the Spanish league with a 2-0 victory against Athletic Bilbao at San Mames stadium.
