Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The Afghan Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in a statement said that during the meeting, the Iran’s deputy minister for agriculture expressed support for Afghanistan in the field of agriculture education and providing improved seeds.
The Iran’s deputy minister for agriculture assured that they are willing to cooperate with Afghan farmers in the fight against pests and plant diseases and to prevent the outbreak of African locusts.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, Acting of the Ministry of Agriculture, appreciated support from Iran’s Deputy Minister for Agriculture and said Afghanistan will send a number of employees to Iran for capacity building in agricultural research and management of emerging pests.
