Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Martin Griffiths, the head of the United Nations Humanitarian Aid Coordinator, said on his X account, which was previously mentioned on Twitter, while the majority of humanitarian operations and aid agencies of this organization are facing a lack of funds. This money was allocated to meet the needs of the people.
The United Nations has allocated twenty million dollars to each of the countries of Afghanistan and Yemen.
Palestinian regions and countries like Malawi have been allocated an emergency budget of four to nine million dollars.
By allocating this 125 million dollars, the emergency budget that the United Nations has specified for its expenses this year reached more than 270 million dollars.
In the meantime, Farhan Haq, the spokesperson of the United Nations, said that if the donor countries do not provide the required aid of 39 billion dollars, it is possible that millions of people in the world will suffer from hunger this year.
