China transferred emergency $200k in Humanitarian Aid to Afghanistan
The Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan transferred emergency humanitarian cash assistance to the Afghan Red Crescent Society today.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Bao Xuhui, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan met with Zakir Ullah, Interim Acting Director of the Third Political Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghan, and Shabeer Ahmad Usmani, Director of Finance department of Afghan Red Crescent Society. 
Minister Bao handed over an emergency humanitarian cash assistance of USD 200,000 provided by the Red Cross Society of China, in response to the earthquake disaster in Herat Province, to support Afghanistan in earthquake relief work.
Bao Xuhui expressed his deep condolences to the victims, families of the victims, and the injured people.
The relevant cash assistance reflected the friendly relationship of the Chinese people towards the Afghan people.
He believed that the people in the disaster area would be able to overcome the impact of the disaster and rebuild their homes as soon as possible.
Zakir Ullah and Usmani introduced the earthquake disaster in Herat Province and the emergency relief work carried out by the Red Crescent Society.
They said that a friend in need is a friend indeed, and the cash assistance provided by the Red Cross Society of China was very timely.
The Red Crescent Society will use this donation to purchase food and other disaster relief materials and distribute them to disaster affected people as soon as possible, so that they can truly feel the friendship of the Chinese people.
