Portugal 3-2 Slovakia: Ronaldo in the sixth Euro
The Portuguese national team won against the Slovakian national team with the brilliance of Cristiano Ronaldo and qualified for the 2024 European Nations Cup.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Before the start of this match, Cristiano Ronaldo, captain and legend of Portuguese football, was honored on the occasion of his 200th game for the Portuguese national team. Ronaldo's family were the special guests of this meeting, who, of course, stood to respect Cristiano and clapped for him along with the whole crowd. The Portuguese fans also participated in the celebration of this success with a special plan that they prepared for Ronaldo.

In this game, Portugal was the best team in the field from the beginning, and in the first half it was fully shown to its opponent.

The game was followed by the regular passing of the Portuguese, when Bruno Fernandez on a stage near the penalty area provided the scoring conditions for Gonchalo Ramos and he headed his team in the 18th minute.

Ramos was not the only scorer in the first half and Cristiano Ronaldo had the opportunity to score in his 200th international game in a familiar way with a penalty kick.

He scored his 124th goal for Portugal from the penalty kick in the 29th minute, when his shot from the ground went into the Slovakian goal against the goalkeeper's dive.

Portugal maintained the advantage against the opponent in the remaining minute of the first half and managed to go to the dressing room without scoring a goal, but in the second half Slovakia compensated for one of the goals.

Portugal was more cautious in the second half and did not try to score as much as in the first half, which gave Slovakia a chance to score through David Hencho in the 69th minute. His shot towards the goal changed direction after hitting the Portuguese player and entered the goal.

Cristiano didn't want to end the game with a goal and scored Portugal's third goal in the 72nd minute amid the increasing motivation of the opponent to get a draw.

In the 80th minute, Stanislav Lobotka scored the second goal for the Slovakian team to make Portugal more likely to come back. He opened Portugal's goal with a long shot and gave his team hope for a comeback.

This confrontation, which was more exciting than any other time during the game in the final minutes, finally ended with Cristiano's teammates winning 3-2.

Portugal is now at the top of the table with 21 points after winning the seventh win in the Euro qualifiers, and Slovakia is in second place with 13 points.
