Norway expressed concern about the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants from neighboring countries
Norway's Chargé d'Affaires for Afghanistan expressed concern about the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants from Afghanistan's neighboring countries in a meeting with the Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Press Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate has published a newsletter stating that Norwegian Chargé d'Affaires in Afghanistan, Pal Kloman Becker, during a meeting with Shir Mohammad Abbas Stankzai, Political Deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, expressed sympathy with the victims of the recent Herat earthquake. He also mentioned his country's assistance to the victims of this earthquake.
 
The Norwegian chargé d'affaires has also expressed concern about the forced deportation of Afghan immigrants by neighboring countries.
 
On the other hand, Shir Mohammad Abbas Stankzai, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has described the treatment of Afghan immigrants in a number of neighboring countries as inhumane and against international agreements and laws.
 
In this meeting, the two sides emphasized that the issues of immigrants and some other problems should be solved through dialogue and positive interaction with the Islamic Emirate.
 
Meanwhile, Pakistan has started the process of deporting more than one million Afghan immigrants from this country. Deportation of immigrants from Iran has also increased significantly recently.
