Afghan MMA fighter Badakhshi to Meet His Korean Opponent

On October 28th, Badakhshi is set to face Hae Jin Park, and he aims to dedicate his potential victory to the people of Herat. Park, a former Road FC featherweight champion with a submission win over Soo Chul Kim, poses a formidable challenge for Badakhshi.

 

 “As you’re already aware, my fight is on October 28th. What’s been happening in my homeland has been highly heartbreaking; therefore, I intend to dedicate the victory of my upcoming fight to my people affected by the earthquakes. I stand by you,” Badakhshi said.

 

In a noble gesture of solidarity, Badakhshi has committed to dedicating his victory to the people of Herat and pledged to contribute a portion of his fight purse to aid those impacted by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Herat Province.
