Afghan refugees are transferred from Pakistan to Britain
Pakistani media have reported that Britain will resume special flights to transfer Afghan refugees from Pakistan. According to reports, on today's first flight, about 200 Afghan refugees will be transferred from Islam to Britain.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Express Tribune newspaper of Pakistan has reported that about 200 Afghan refugees from Islamabad will be transferred to the UK on the first flight today (Thursday, October 26, 2023).
 
In the report of this media, quoting the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, it is stated that 12 special flights to transport Afghan refugees to Britain are scheduled to be made by the end of December this year.
 
This media has said that according to the schedule published by the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan, one flight will be made every week and a total of about two thousand Afghan refugees will be transferred from Pakistan to Britain.
 
Earlier, the Pakistani media "Express News" had reported that the decision to resume special flights to transfer Afghan refugees from Pakistan to Britain was made in a meeting of a delegation of the British High Commissioner and senior officials of the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority in Karachi.
 
A large number of Afghan citizens who had cooperated with the British forces and institutions in the past twenty years, had applied for asylum to the British government after the domination of the Islamic Emirate, and are waiting for their transfer to Pakistan.
