Afghanistan's national football team has climbed four places in the world rankings

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Afghanistan's national football team ranked 154th in the world and 30th in Asia.
 
This promotion is formed after the national team qualified for the next qualifying stage of the World Cup and Asian Nations Cup.
 
In the initial stage of qualifying for these two prestigious cups, the national team defeated Mongolia in the return game with a total score of 2-0 and went to the next stage.
 
Yesterday, the World Football Federation announced the latest ranking of national teams, in which Afghanistan, by climbing four places, ranked 154th in the world and 30th in Asia.
 
Meanwhile, a number of famous and outstanding players of the country's national football team announced last week that they have resigned from this team due to corruption and lack of proper management in the football federation.
 
Faisal Shaisheta, Zulfiqar Nazari, Rahmat Akbari, Najm Heydari, Omid Popalzi, Imran Heydari, and a number of other key players of the country's national football team on their Facebook pages called the recent performance of the leadership of the football federation against them corruption and loss of rights and demanded their resignation. They became part of the football team.
 
But the officials in the country's football federation have not reacted in this regard so far.
 
For the first time, Afghanistan's national football team has been able to qualify for the World Cup and the Asian Nations Cup.
 
Also, some time ago Abdullah Al-Mutairi, the former head coach of the country's national football team, also resigned from his position due to differences with the players. After that, the sources said that the negotiations of the Football Federation with the English option to lead the country's national football team have reached the final stage, and if nothing special happens, "Ashley Westwood" will be the new head coach of the Afghanistan national football team in the preliminary stage of the World Cup.
