"David Cameron" went to Ukraine on his first trip as British Foreign Secretary
David Cameron, the new British foreign minister, met and talked with the president of Ukraine on his first foreign trip.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: British Foreign Minister David Cameron met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during his visit to Kiev, which was his first business trip abroad since he was appointed to the position of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Reuters news agency announced this news and wrote: Cameron said in a video published by Zelensky's office that he wanted to emphasize London's support for Ukraine with this trip.

Zelensky also said he appreciated the move, which came amid the crisis in West Asia following the Gaza war and concerns about declining international attention to the war in Ukraine. 21 months have passed since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in February 2021.

"The world is not very focused on the situation on the ground in Ukraine, and this gap in focus is not helpful," Zelenskiy said.

Cameron, whose country has been a close ally of Kiev in Russia's war against Ukraine, said: "What I want to say by being here is that we have the moral support, the diplomatic support and most importantly, the military support that you need not only this year and next year. Then, but for as long as it takes, we will continue."

Britain's new foreign secretary said London would work with its allies to "make sure the focus is on Ukraine."
