Extensive Russian attacks on the capital and port infrastructure of Ukraine
In the last two days, Russia has carried out a large-scale offensive attack by a drone on the capital of Ukraine, as a result of which several people have been killed and injured, and huge damages have been caused.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: According to the Ukrainian Air Force, this was the sixth air attack on Kiev this month, and at the same time, another drone attacked parts of the center, south and west of Ukraine.

Ukraine announced that its air defense was able to shoot down 24 out of 28 drones on Thursday night, and Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko also wrote on the Telegram channel that a drone hit an apartment block in the south of the city. It caused a fire in the upper floors, which was quickly controlled.

The initial attacks on Friday took place a few hundred meters from a maternity hospital, and a video posted on social media showed a huge orange flame shooting into the night sky.

Ukraine says the attacks have also damaged grain warehouses in the southern regions.

In the south of Ukraine, Russia has tried to attack the country's port infrastructure once again. Since withdrawing from the UN-mediated grain agreement, Russia has always tried to prevent the safe passage of Ukrainian grain shipments through the Black Sea.

According to Euronews, the command of the Southern Army wrote in the Telegram messenger, referring to the drone attacks on Odessa port, that they have managed to shoot down some of these drones. However, he added that the wreckage of some downed drones damaged a grain warehouse and caused a fire there, which was quickly contained by the forces present on the spot.

Mykola Oleschak, the commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, also announced on Friday that three Russian SU-34 bombers were shot down in the southern regions. He did not release more information about it.
