Mohammad Younis Mohmand, head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, said in a meeting with the members of the Chamber of Commerce of Iran's Khorasan Razavi Province that a consortium has been formed in Afghanistan to solve the problems of the Khaf-Herat railway so that this project can be completed soon.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce, "Mohammad Yunus Mohmand" in a meeting with the members of the board of directors of this chamber, referring to the recent visit of the Khorasan Razavi Chamber of Commerce to Kabul, said: After that trip, The determination of the country of Iran, especially Khorasan Razavi Province, to expand trade with Afghanistan was proven for us.
 
He said: Considering the linguistic, historical, cultural, religious and geographical similarities between the two countries, we expect a stronger economic presence of Iranians in Afghanistan, because hundreds of Chinese companies are currently operating in Afghanistan without these similarities, but a small number of Iranian companies. They operate in Afghanistan.
 
The head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment mentioned among his goals in this trip the increase of commercial and economic cooperation in large-scale projects such as road construction, energy and mining, especially copper and iron in Afghanistan from the side of Iranians and invited Iranian business delegations to this. travel the country and closely follow the development of business relations.
 
Mohmand added: Considering the obstacles created in the trade through the port of Karachi for Afghanistan, Afghan traders have a great desire to trade through Chabahar, but so far the capacity to accept a large volume of trade and traffic of containers has not been created in the port of Chabahar, and more efforts should be made to develop it. capacity of this port.
 
He stated that the first priority of Afghan businessmen is trade by sea and Chabahar port is located at the shortest distance from this country, but this port does not have the necessary capacities and Afghan businessmen in Chabahar have faced challenges that must be resolved.
 
Head of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, referring to the advantages offered to economic activists in Afghanistan, said: Anyone who wants land to start an economic activity will be granted it at the lowest price in the private industrial park of Kabul with all the facilities. It is growing while before all goods were imported to this country, but now advanced goods are also produced in Afghanistan.

Mohmand also suggested that a joint commission be formed between the two countries regarding the export of Iranian medicine to Afghanistan and efforts to prevent drug smuggling into the country, so that an Iranian pharmaceutical center can be established in Afghanistan through cooperation, and for this purpose, the necessary arrangements should be made. and the necessary medicines are legally imported into Afghanistan and smuggling is prevented.
 
In addition, the head of Khorasan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Razavi also said that the completion and completion of the Mashhad-Herat railway line will facilitate the movement and trade of goods between Iran and Afghanistan and lay the groundwork for the development of economic and commercial cooperation between the two countries. will be. In this sense, the demand of the private sector of Iran and Afghanistan is to speed up the process of implementing this project.
 
Mohammadreza Tawaklizadeh emphasized: the capacity of bilateral cooperation in engineering, road construction, supply of raw materials and creation and development of factories and industrial centers and implementation of joint economic and mining projects is available.
 
Economic transformation of Afghanistan

However, Afghanistan is ready for a leap and many activities have started in it, and if it continues with this trend, we will see another Afghanistan in the next five years.
 
He added: "Before, we could only do business with Afghanistan, but today, due to the stabilization of the situation in this country, we can also cooperate with them in the fields of industry, mining and agriculture." For example, considering the lack of water resources in our country, if we can use the capacity of the "Amu Darya" river for extraterritorial cultivation in the border areas with Iran, 550,000 hectares will be cultivated.
 
In another part of his speech, the head of the Iran-Afghanistan Joint Chamber emphasized the necessity of holding an exhibition of industrial machinery and technical and engineering service companies in Afghanistan and said: In a situation where Afghan people and economic activists welcome Iranian equipment, machinery and services. We must expand our market in this country because if we miss this opportunity, other countries will fill our place.

Afghanistan's commercial adviser in Iran also said in this meeting: Today, there is security in Afghanistan and life is going on, and people live together in complete comfort and security. Therefore, if there is a market of 80 million people in Iran, there is a similar population of 35 million people in Afghanistan. On the other hand, families know Iranian goods and there is no need for advertising.

Afghanistan's commercial adviser in Iran announced the readiness of investors to invest in the production and distribution of medicine in Afghanistan and added: If the permits for this issue are provided by Iran, there is a readiness for joint investment in this field.
