Imran Khan was disqualified from running in Pakistan
Yesterday, a number of media reported that Imran Khan was qualified to participate in the recent elections of this country, but the Election Commission of Pakistan announced that it rejected the nomination request of the former prime minister of this country to compete in the 2024 elections in 2 constituencies.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The media team of this Pakistani politician announced on Saturday evening that Imran Khan had sent nomination papers to contest in Lahore and his hometown "Mianwali".

The report states that the Election Commission has announced that Imran Khan's candidacy in Lahore has been rejected because he is not a registered voter in this constituency and has been convicted and previously disqualified from candidacy.

According to the media team of this politician, Imran Khan, who was a former cricket player and later became a politician, has also been rejected from his hometown of Mianwali in Punjab province.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, some domestic and foreign media, including the Chinese news agency CGTN, announced that Imran Khan was qualified to participate in the elections.

According to ISNA, the arrest of Imran Khan in the embezzlement case triggered a wave of violence in Pakistan.

Pakistan's parliamentary elections will usher in a new five-year government tasked with reviving Pakistan's economy, which had nearly stagnated this year before a $3 billion bailout from the International Monetary Fund. The new government will also end the political uncertainty that has plagued Pakistan since Imran Khan was ousted in a no-confidence vote last year.
