A delegation from the caretaker government to Pakistan
A delegation led by Mullah Shirin Akhund, the governor of Kandahar, left for Islamabad to talk with Pakistani officials.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: This delegation consists of officials from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Information and Culture, and intelligence officials.

The said delegation is supposed to hold bilateral talks with the Pakistani authorities.

A joint meeting of the Pakistan-Afghanistan Coordination Council will also be held in Islamabad, and the Afghan delegation will also meet with Asif Durrani, Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan. The delegation is also scheduled to meet officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and military officials of Pakistan.

The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, said that the resolution of the disputes between the two sides along the Durand Line and the creation of facilities for the people on both sides of the border are among the topics discussed in this meeting.

Zabihullah Mujahid said that the meetings of this delegation are held periodically in Kabul and Islamabad under the chairmanship of Mullah Shirin Akhund.

In these meetings, Pakistan will discuss its claim about the use of Afghan soil by insurgents in Afghanistan.

Islamabad is also expected to demand the extradition of Hafez Gul Bahadur and other insurgents in Afghanistan.

In these meetings, visa-free transportation in Chaman port will also be discussed.

It should be mentioned that in recent months and after Pakistan's action of forcibly deporting Afghan immigrants, the relationship between the Islamic Emirate and the Pakistani government has turned cold.
