American and British military attack on Yemen
In a joint statement, America and England claimed that with the support of their 8 allied countries, they attacked the logistics and military centers of Yemen with the aim of "reducing tensions and restoring stability to the Red Sea".
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): American and British armies targeted "more than 12 sites used by the Yemeni Houthis" early Friday morning (January 12).
 
These military targets have included logistics centers, air defense systems, and weapons storage facilities.
 
"CNN" news channel also reported that Tomahawk missiles were fired from air, ground and subsurface platforms and the aim of these attacks was to reduce the continuous attacks of "Houthis" on ships in the Red Sea.
 
The report added that the attacked targets included radar systems, drones storage and their flight sites, ballistic and cruise missile warehouses and their firing sites.
 
According to the Iran Press news agency, the United States, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, and the United Kingdom claimed in a joint statement published on the White House website: "The joint attacks of the United States and the United Kingdom with the support of the Netherlands, Canada, Bahrain and Australia and in accordance with the clear right of collective and individual defense and consistent with the UN Charter against targets in areas controlled by the Houthis in Yemen.
 
In another part of their statement, they claimed: "The aim of these precise attacks was to disrupt and reduce the capabilities of the "Houthis" in threatening global trade and the lives of international sailors in one of the world's most vital waterways."
 
The US and its allies added: "Our goal remains to reduce tensions and restore stability to the Red Sea, but our message is clear: we will not hesitate to defend lives and protect the free flow of trade against continued threats in one of the world's most vital waterways."
 
Following the country's military aggression against Yemen, US President Joe Biden announced: "On my order, the military forces of the United States of America, together with the United Kingdom and with the support of Australia, Bahrain, Canada and the Netherlands, carried out successful attacks against several targets in Yemen. "
 
British Prime Minister Rishi Sonak also announced in defense of the military aggression against Yemen: "The Royal Air Force carried out targeted attacks against the military facilities used by the Yemeni Houthis."
 
Juma announced in a statement: Four Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR4s with the support of the Voyager refueling aircraft were used with Paveway IV guided bombs to carry out precision attacks on 2 Houthi installations.
 
One of these facilities was located in "Bani" in the northwest of Yemen, which is used to launch reconnaissance and offensive drones. Several buildings used for drone operations were targeted by our aircraft.
 
Another facility that was the target of our plane's attack was "Abs" military airport. Intelligence has shown that the facility was used to launch cruise missiles and drones over the Red Sea.
 
The first deputy governor of Sana'a told Sana'a early on Friday morning that these attacks did not cause any casualties.
 
The director of al-Mayadeen office in Sana'a also announced that the fire in al-Dilami military base did not cause any material damage, because the limited fire around this base was quickly extinguished.
