More than 4,000 Afghans have been released from Pakistan
The Afghan consulate in Karachi, Pakistan has announced the release of more than 4,000 Afghan prisoners in this country in the past year.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdul Jabbar Takhari, the Consul of Afghanistan in Karachi, Pakistan, told the media that efforts are underway to free more than 200 people who are in Pakistani prisons.
 
According to Takhari, the deportation of Afghan immigrants from Pakistan has also decreased.
 
The Afghan consul in Karachi said: "We have 200 people in the prisons of Sindh province, and efforts are being made to release them as soon as possible so that they can return to their homeland."
 
Meanwhile, the prisoners and immigrants deported and returning from Pakistan are strongly complaining about the misbehavior and beatings of the Pakistani police forces.
