Consultation about the plan to build agricultural complexes around the Qosh tappe canal
Officials in the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate say that the head of the ministry has discussed with the head of the National Development Company about the establishment of agricultural complexes and irrigation of agricultural lands around Qosh tappe canal.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Misbahuddin Mastain, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of the Islamic Emirate, informed about this issue in an interview with AVA reporter today (Monday, March 19).

According to him, Maulavi Ataullah Omari, Acting Minister of Agriculture, in a meeting with Abdul Rahman Attash, head of the National Development Company; He talked about the progress of construction of Qosh tappe canal, creation of agricultural complexes and irrigation of agricultural lands around this canal.

According to his words, the Acting Minister of Agriculture said in this meeting that with the establishment of an agricultural complex around the Qosh tappe canal, agricultural and livestock farms will also be built.

It should be noted that the Qosh tappe irrigation canal, whose feasibility studies began in 2018, is the largest water transfer project in the north of the country, which has the capacity to transfer 10 billion cubic meters of water from the border river Amu.
