Continued Russian advance in eastern Ukraine
The Russian army has announced a new advance in eastern Ukraine and said that it has captured the village of "Gedo" in Ukritina region of Donetsk province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The Russian army announced this Saturday that it has taken control of the village of "Gedo" in eastern Ukraine, near the Ukritina region, and has made rapid progress there in the past few weeks.

The Arabic Sky News website wrote: "The Russian Defense Ministry announced in its daily report that the army has liberated the "village of Arkhangelska" in the northwest of Avdiyka in the Donetsk region, which is close to other villages that Russia had already controlled in May.

The town of Ukrityna is considered a strategic location in Donetsk, as it formed a crossroads for the delivery of aid to Ukrainian forces on the war fronts.

According to Shafqna, yesterday Friday, the ministry published a clip showing that Russian forces have retaken control of the city of Klichuka, southwest of Bakhmut in Donetsk, and raised the Russian flag and the victory flag in the city.

These scenes showed the operational activity of the Russian forces during the attack on the bases of the Ukrainian forces in the neighborhoods of the city using highly accurate "Krasnopol" missiles.
