Afghanistan the victim of tensions in relations between Islamabad and Washington
S. officials have said. The U.S. $ 800 million of its aid to the Pakistani army, because of problems in relations between the countries suspends the state at the same time.
Relations between the two strategic allies in the war on terrorism
since announcement of death of Osama bin Laden near the
Islamabad significantly started darkening.
These tensions in some sections went so worse that numbers of military experts saw the America’s military attack to Pakistan expected.
Bin Laden's killing by the Americans in May second, the current year
and the arbitrary operations inside Pakistani,
near an important military center belonging to the Pakistan army made the public angry in Pakistan to put pressure on this country by staging street protests to review Pakistan policy toward America so the Pakistan parliament was put under the heavy pressure.
The Pakistan's parliament was forced only 12 days after
the incident on May 14th, to formally appeal to America's relations with Pakistan.
Consequently, as there was more tension in relations between the two countries, on the same month 26th the U.S. officials confirmed that some of its troops were going to be deployed from Pakistan to accept the Pakistan request.
The tensions and strained relations between the two countries, however, was not stopped there and in the latest case Bill Daily, the White House chief of staff said on Sunday that America until the issue of Pakistan is not solved will keep some part of its monetary fund to Pakistan.
U.S. officials have said. The U.S. $ 800 million of its aid to the Pakistani army, because of problems in relations between the countries suspends the state at the same time. Ahmed Mukhtar, Pakistan's defense minister said in a recent interview with the media. That his country may respond to the suspension of America aid, they will pull back troops from the Afghan border. It is worth mentioning annually, about two billion dollars of United States aid to Pakistan for deployment to Afghanistan to fight against insurgents in Pakistan's border, will cost.
Pakistan's defense minister said. They do not have this ability to finance the troops deployed in Afghanistan, without assistance of America. Pakistan also recently expelled more than 100 America's military trainers from their territory and has threatened. That a base belongs to America's Intelligence (CIA) located in Pakistan will closed. However, many analysts, than worsening situation in the border areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan is likely to increase tensions between Pakistan and America are warning. Observers believe that, if Pakistan is to enter a process similar to the Cold War with America to be , then this is more than one aspect of the war in Afghanistan, will be affected.
On the other hand the relations of Pakistan with Afghanistan has not been very good over the days since on last Tuesday the Afghanistan joint chief of Staff chairman in an interview with a local television network had said that the borders of Afghanistan is extended to the Indus River since the Durand line is not formally accepted by Afghanistan. Although he was very cautious talking about the policy of Afghanistan toward the Pakistan recent rocket attacks on Afghanistan, it has made the Pakistani officials angry.
