The Afghanistan Railway Department has announced that Bakhtur Rahman Sharaft, the head of the department, has traveled to Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, at the head of a delegation.

Mullah Bakhtur Rahman Sharaft, the General Director of Afghanistan Railway Administration, who is on an official visit to Iran, in a meeting with the presidents of the member companies of Iran's consortium for the development of Afghanistan's railways, demanded the investment of Iranian companies in Afghanistan's railway projects.

Officials in Afghanistan Railway Department say that four technical employees of this department have been sent to Iran for training.
