Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Afghanistan Railway Administration has published this news today (Thursday, August 31, 2023) and said that in this meeting there will be a detailed discussion on the investment of the companies that are members of the Iranian Railway Consortium in railway projects in Afghanistan.
Mulla Bakhtur Rahman Sharaf said: "Construction of the second part of the fourth section of the Khaf-Herat railway line is one of the priorities of the Afghanistan Railway Administration, and we are pursuing this issue with all seriousness."
During this meeting, the presidents of the member companies of the Iranian consortium gave information about their capacities, goals and expertise and committed to invest in the railway sector in Afghanistan.
It should be mentioned that a few days ago, the head of the Afghanistan Railway Department went to Tehran for the purpose of railway cooperation between Iran and the country.
