Curbs on movement of Afghans in Kohat lifted
Restriction on the movement of Afghan refugees outside their camps in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s garrison town of Kohat have been lifted.
The order was issued by the deputy commissioner in compliance with Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi’s instructions.
The 10-day ban on the movement of Afghans was imposed on March 1. Eighty-four Afghan citizens, arrested last week, were allowed to run their businesses in the city.
The state minister took serious note of the ban on the entry of Afghan businessmen into the city and ordered its immediate lifting.
