America, with its 20-year presence in Afghanistan, has turned this country into a ruin

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) Kabul: Wang Wenbin, the spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said in a news conference: Afghanistan is a living example of US belligerence; America's two-decade invasion of Afghanistan has turned this country into ruins.
 
He went on to add: This war destroyed the future of a generation in Afghanistan, killing 174,000 people, including more than 30,000 civilians, and displacing tens of millions of people.
 
According to him, the impact of this war has caused millions of Afghans to struggle with death, about three million children stop going to school, and 18.9 million people face acute food shortages.
 
According to him, America should accept the responsibility for all this.
 
He also added that Afghanistan is a living proof of the failure of the democratic transformation program of the United States. The two-decade war in Afghanistan has cost the United States more than 2 trillion dollars, more than 2,400 American soldiers have lost their lives, and more than 20,000 other soldiers have been injured.
 
Wang Wenbin recently said that the international community should be very vigilant and jointly prevent the recklessness of the United States in creating chaos under the name of democracy.
 
Beijing has always criticized Washington's policies in Afghanistan; but the tension between China and the United States has recently intensified over the issue of Taiwan.
