Experts: Secularists caused economic collapse and ethnocentrism in the country
Following the statements of some people and figures that the type of government in Afghanistan should be secular, experts say that the secularists in Afghanistan do not have the support of the people, because every time they took power, they did not do any basic work for the people.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: These informed statements are made while some people, including Mohammad Amin Ahmadi, a member of the peace negotiation team of the previous government, have called for a secular government in Afghanistan.

Mr. Ahmadi said that without accepting secularism, equal opportunities and self-discovery of women and youth cannot be achieved.

But Mohammad Baqir Amini, a religious scholar, said in an interview with AVA that the secularists did not enjoy the support of the people in their governance throughout the history of Afghanistan, but came to power with the support of foreign countries.

He stated that during the 20 years of the republic, the power was in the hands of the seculars, adding that during this period, with the influx of billions of dollars of international aid, they did little service to the development of the country and the people, but with pity and desire, the funds of the country's economy were wasted.

This religious scholar stated: Although the secularists pushed the country towards division and ethnocentrism, now these people from foreign countries and using the western media without any reason are exonerating themselves and blaming others for the disturbances.

He added that the secularists, without considering the Afghan culture, were trying to spread the unsavory western culture in Afghanistan, therefore, during the 20 years of their rule, except for promoting the theft of treasury funds, moral corruption, drug and culture sales.

Amini emphasized that during the republic, the secularists had so heated ethnic and racial issues in Afghanistan for their personal interests that every nation claimed independence and a kind of supremacy had emerged among the country's nations.

Expressing that the people of Afghanistan no longer trust the seculars, he added: If the seculars worked compassionately for the country and the people, now Afghanistan would be 70% self-sufficient in various economic sectors.

Also, Aziz Meraj, a political expert, said in an interview with AVA: Although Afghanistan is an Islamic country where 99 percent of its people are Muslims, on the basis of this, the people want the application of Sharia and Islamic laws, but the conditions of the world must be understood. Because religious government is not the answer to all issues.

Stating that in the current situation, religious issues should be separated from governance, he added that the government should continue its work with global conditions and people with expertise should be appointed to government positions.

This political expert pointed out: Any Islamic government that wants to have good relations with the world must respect international laws and apply international laws to its citizens in addition to Sharia laws.

Meanwhile, Abbas Hassanzadeh, the head of the Supreme Quranic Council, also said in an interview with Ava: The governments that have come to work in Afghanistan when they did not have religious roots, people did not support that system.

He added: Afghans who have secular views have the citizenship of foreign countries, therefore they have no obligation towards Afghanistan.

Stating that politics and religion are possible together, he added that the people of Afghanistan want to be involved in political and religious issues as well as Islamic education issues and not be far from religion.

Expressing that the secularists have no place and base among the people, this religious scholar pointed out that throughout the country's history, the secularists
