Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Office of the Economic Deputy of the Ministry of the Islamic Emirate announced yesterday (January 8, 2023) the meeting of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Economic Deputy of the Ministry, with a delegation of scholars from Egypt, Sudan and Palestine.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar said in this meeting that a wrong interpretation of the situation in Afghanistan has been presented to the world.
He clarified: "Unfortunately, the western media shows a negative image of Afghanistan."
Mullah Baradar asked the scholars of the mentioned countries to show the correct picture of the real situation in Afghanistan to the Muslims of the world.
On the other hand, Mohammad Al-Saghir, the head of the delegation of scholars of the mentioned countries, congratulated the Afghan nation for defeating America and NATO and added: This victory is an honor not only for Afghanistan but also for the Islamic Ummah.
At the same time, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, the Acting Minister of Information and Culture, also met with the prominent scholars of the Islamic world in his office.
Referring to the policy of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah said: Our goal is to implement the Sharia and divine decrees, and we want to help our countrymen and Muslim citizens to live a good Islamic life.
Acting Minister of Information and Culture also said: Currently, the Islamic world, especially Afghanistan, is facing negative propaganda from the West and some biased countries.
In the meantime, the head of the board of scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad al-Saghir and the members of this board, in their speeches, praised and appreciated the 20-year jihad and struggle of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and congratulated the nation of Ghazi and the nobility of Afghanistan on this great victory.
They added that this great victory was not only for Afghanistan, but for the entire Muslim Ummah and said: The reason we came to Afghanistan is to see the Islamic system that has been affected by it and explain it in our countries.
Also, the distinguished scholars of the Islamic world emphasized the unity of the Muslims of the world and expressed their readiness to cooperate with Afghanistan in various scientific and cultural fields.
Before this delegation of scholars from Egypt, Sudan and Palestine had met with Sirajuddin Haqqani, Acting Minister of Interior, and Mawlavi Nida Mohammad Nadim, Acting Minister of Higher Education, and discussed the issues of the Islamic world and the need for unity and solidarity of Muslims.
