Croatia called the war in Ukraine a proxy
In a press conference, the President of Croatia considered the war in Ukraine to be a proxy war started by America and Europe. By stating that they (Europe and America) only go from one war to another, he called sanctions against Russia ineffective.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Croatian President Zoran Milanovic stated in a press conference that there is no logic in imposing sanctions against Russia, and added: Countries' plans should not be to take power from Vladimir Putin (President of Russia) or to impose Sanctions. Sanctions will not achieve anything.

He emphasized: Washington and NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) have launched a proxy war against Russia with the cooperation of Ukraine.

Referring to NATO's involvement in the Kosovo war and the bombing of the former Yugoslavia in 1999, the President of Croatia noted that they only go from one war to another. But should we feel that we are slaves of America?

Accordingly, last month Croatian lawmakers rejected the government's proposal for Croatia to join the EU mission to support the Ukrainian army.

The president of Croatia, who is considered the supreme commander of the country's armed forces, opposed this cooperation, which requires the training of Ukrainian forces in Croatia, and warned that the training of Ukrainian soldiers in the territory of the European Union will have dangerous consequences.

Milanovic also said that Croatia should not participate in the war and this proposal violates the constitution; because this country is not a member of the European Union or NATO, it has not declared Ukraine as an ally.
