"Continuation of sanctions" has affected the investment situation in Afghanistan

In this meeting, the special representative of the Japanese government for Afghanistan gave information about his activities in Afghanistan and said that Afghanistan, having economic capacities and human resources, can travel the path of its economic development by using internal capacities and economic cooperation of friendly organizations and countries.
 
He considered the creation of work opportunities and the role of the youth to be important in the economic development of the country.
 
On the other hand, while appreciating Japan's economic cooperation in the past two years, the Acting Minister of Economy said: "The continuation of sanctions on the banking and economic systems and the freezing of Afghanistan's foreign exchange capital by the United Nations have affected the country's economic situation and our business activities with It has dimmed the countries of the world and caused problems in the field of domestic and foreign investments in our country.
 
He added that Japan has historical relations and economic cooperation with Afghanistan for a long time, and as a friendly and cooperative country, it can be effective in lifting the sanctions and freeing the foreign exchange capital of our country with the United Nations and the international community.
 
Acting Minister of Economy has added that focusing on development projects in different sectors can provide employment for the people and improve the economic and livelihood situation of the people, and on the other hand, provide the basis for economic stability in the country.
 
He called the continuation of Dr. Naka Mura's programs in the development of the agriculture sector useful and stated that if such projects are implemented in other provinces of the country; More economic efficiency will follow.
 
Recently, the special representative of the Japanese government for Afghanistan considered the major economic achievements of the Islamic Emirate in nearly two years as important and assured the cooperation of his country with the Ministry of Economy in the implementation of employment and development projects.
