Increase in detention of immigrants in Türkiye; 37 asylum seekers from Afghanistan were arrested
Following the arrests and deportation of migrants from Turkey, the police of this country have recently arrested 37 asylum seekers from Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Anatolia news agency of Turkey published a report that these people were identified and arrested during an operation from "Ayvajik" area of "Cenaq Qala" province.
 
This Turkish media referred to these asylum seekers as "illegal immigrants" and said that one of them was arrested on charges of human trafficking.
 
According to Anatoly's report, these people include 11 women, 10 men and 16 children.
 
According to this media report, three boats belonging to human traffickers were also seized and the asylum seekers were handed over to the Ayvajik Immigration Department.
 
Recently, Turkey has increased the detention of Afghan refugees from different cities of that country.
