After winning against Saudi Arabia and New Zealand, Afghanistan's national wheelchair basketball team defeated the Philippine team in the Asia-Pacific Championship.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): According to the announcement of the Afghanistan Wheelchair Basketball Federation, this game was held on (Monday, January 15) in Bangkok, Thailand.

This federation said that the national team of the country defeated the Philippine team with the result of 78-48 and with a difference of 30 points.

Afghanistan's wheelchair basketball team had previously defeated the teams of Saudi Arabia and New Zealand.

Afghanistan is in Group B of this competition with New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Philippines and the United Arab Emirates, and thus the next match of the country's national team will be against the United Arab Emirates.

In the Asia-Pacific Games, 11 Asian teams are competing for a quota to participate in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
