Signing of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Agriculture of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad of Iran

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Misbahuddin Mustain, the head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, yesterday (Thursday, March 14) in an interview with AVA reporter, said that this memorandum between Maulavi Chancellor Osmani, the deputy of this ministry and Alireza Mohajer, Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad of the Islamic Republic of Iran, signed in Kabul.

 

According to him, this memorandum has 55 articles on cooperation in the fields of plant protection and quarantine, research, soil science, agriculture, promotion, alternative livelihoods, irrigation, agricultural infrastructure, livestock, animal health, livestock research, support for the private sector, agricultural institutions, Medical and employee training was signed.

 

According to his words, during the signing ceremony of this memorandum, Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Iran's special representative for Afghanistan affairs, Maryam Jalili Moghadam, the supervisor of the Plant Protection Organization of the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture, a number of experts from the Islamic Republic of Iran's agriculture and livestock department, and from Ministry of Agriculture Maulavi Hussain Ahmad Khurshid, Head of Office, Head of Plant Protection and Quarantine, Official Advisor of the Ministry, Head of Soil Science, Head of Alternative Livelihoods, and from Afghanistan Chamber of Agriculture and Livestock Khan Mohammad Fortun, Head of the Chamber and its members were present.

 

The head of information and public awareness of the Ministry of Agriculture says that this memorandum was reached during the trip of a high-ranking delegation consisting of officials from the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan after several days of talks between the leadership and experts of the Ministry of Agriculture of Afghanistan and the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture of Iran. 

 

It should be mentioned that the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran has arrived in Kabul for several days and has met and discussed with various officials of the Islamic Emirate of Iran regarding joint cooperation and expansion of these cooperation.
