Strengthening trade and transit relations, the focus of Muttaqi
The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate met and discussed with the Deputy Minister of Trade of Pakistan on expanding and strengthening commercial and transit relations, creating facilities for the movement of passengers, patients and businessmen through the transit routes of the hypothetical Durand line.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Hafiz Zia Ahmad, the Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate published an article on X channel and said that Mohammad Khorram Agha, the Deputy Minister of Trade of Pakistan and his accompanying delegation met with Maulavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the head of this ministry.

According to him, in this meeting, whose purpose was to strengthen trade, transit and economic relations, Amir Khan Muttaqi spoke in detail about the problems in the aforementioned sectors and their solutions.

The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate also stated that the governments have the responsibility to provide for the commonalities and values of the people of the two countries.

He reminded of the sincere measures to solve the problems in the trade and transit sectors and considered it necessary.

On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of Commerce of Pakistan assured that in the near future they will find solutions to all the problems in the mentioned sectors as much as possible.

In the recent meeting of the two sides, while expanding and strengthening trade and transit relations, they emphasized on creating facilities for the movement of passengers, patients, and businessmen through the transit routes of the hypothetical Durand line.

It should be mentioned that the Deputy Minister of Commerce of Pakistan arrived in Kabul on Monday at the official invitation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Islamic Emirate.
