Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): "NBC News" channel reported, quoting an American government official: An unknown number of American soldiers were injured in two separate rocket attacks on facilities where American forces are stationed in Syria.
The official, whose name or position was not released, said the injuries were superficial and non-fatal, and that they were still waiting to report the exact number of casualties in Wednesday night's operations against their bases.
It was Wednesday evening that the two military bases of the American occupation in the Omar oil field and the Koniko gas field in eastern Syria were targeted by rocket attacks several times at different time intervals.
These operations are in response to last night's aggressive attacks, the US Army announced that it has attacked the positions of the resistance groups in eastern Syria, under the pretext of numerous attacks on the country's bases.
An hour later, the terrorist organization of the Central Command of the US Army known as "CENTCOM" confirmed in a statement that three American soldiers were wounded in these operations, although their injuries were superficial.
Centcom also said: Our forces responded to the rocket attacks that were carried out from two areas in Syria and destroyed 3 vehicles and equipment. Our initial assessment is that 2 or 3 militants have been killed.
Earlier, an American official told "Fox News" that the Apache helicopters of the country's army attacked two areas in eastern Syria and claimed that rocket operations against the country's bases in Syria were carried out from there.
In the past years, America has supported separatist militias under the pretext of fighting terrorism and ISIS and occupied the oil-rich areas of Syria.
Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, had previously stated clearly that the presence of the American military in Syria is because of the oil wells.
In addition to oil and diesel, America steals and smuggles large amounts of Syrian grain to neighboring countries for the use of its soldiers.
