More than 25,000 transit flights have passed safely through Afghanistan
Officials in the Ministry of Transport and Aviation have announced that Afghanistan's airspace is safe for transit flights, saying that in the past year, more than 25,000 transit flights have passed through the airspace of the country.

Hasibullah Soroush, Minister of Aviation Policy, Security and Inspection of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, said in a press conference held for this purpose that up to 90 flights pass through Afghanistan every day.
 
He added that in the last year, despite the negative propaganda of the opponents of the Islamic Emirate regarding the insecurity of Afghanistan's atmosphere; however, about 25,540 flights have been registered over Afghanistan.
 
Based on Soroush's statements; The cooperation of neighboring countries also plays a major role in the passage of these flights through Afghanistan, and their confidence in the world has led to the fact that in recent weeks, a number of foreign airlines refused to fly through the airspace of the country due to the establishment of the Islamic Emirate.
 
Soroush clarified that due to the passing of flights over Afghanistan; Millions of dollars have been deposited into the country's treasury. Also, about 2,647 tons of cargo have been transferred - imported and exported - through air corridors.
 
Continuing his remarks, he said that all airports in the country - four international airports and 24 local airports - are open to civil flights and valuable steps have been taken in the past year in the field of airport equipment.
 
The Minister of Aviation Policy, Security and Inspection of the Ministry of Transportation and Aviation noted that during the past year, this ministry provided humanitarian flights to local airports and airports for 6,792 foreign flights, including the Red Cross, World Food Program, UNMA, Pactic and MS. F has provided.
 
Facilitating flights for 30,000 pilgrims, issuing 1,662 flight permits, amending the aviation law in accordance with Islamic Sharia and sending it to the office of the Amir of the Emirate for approval, distributing 400 licenses for flight crews and issuing 12 flight capability certificates, among other achievements of the last year by Soroush was mentioned.
 
At the same time, Gholam Jilani Wafa, deputy operational officer of this ministry, said that this ministry has provided the field of safe control of all civil aircraft by purchasing some equipment.
 
He added that although military flights are controlled by the Ministry of Defense; But this ministry is also trying to put all the country's airspace under Afghan control by purchasing radar and communication control equipment from an Emirati company.
 
Mullah Abdul Salam Heydari, Minister of Land Transportation of this Ministry, also mentioned the reduction of congestion, construction of terminals in every province, determining the rent of linear cars in Kabul every three months, checking old cars and preventing the traffic of smoke-emitting cars as the achievements of this ministry.
 
He also said that GPS or trackers have been installed on 500 trucks and transporters and this process continues vigorously.
 
Collecting more than 8 billion Afghanis in revenue in a transparent manner and hiring more than 2,000 professionals through the open competition process were mentioned as other achievements of this ministry in the last year.
