Three players of the national cricket team were banned and suspended
The Afghanistan Cricket Board has decided to suspend the contracts of three players of the country's national team each, Mujibur Rahman, Fazlul Haq Farooqi and Naveen Haq, for one year and not allow these players to participate in foreign leagues for another two years.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This institution published a statement on Monday, December 25, saying that this decision was taken because the mentioned players preferred personal interests over national interests by participating in commercial leagues.

According to the country's cricket board, the mentioned players had informed this body that they will not sign the 2024 contract.

It is stated in the announcement that the Afghanistan Cricket Board shares its decision with the International Cricket Council, the Asian Cricket Council and the Cricket Board of other countries so that it can be implemented seriously.

However, the imposition of restrictions by the Afghanistan Cricket Board on three young cricketers has provoked different reactions.

A number of experts and cricket fans have condemned this decision and said that it is better to have an understanding with the players instead of this decision.

But a number of cricket enthusiasts have praised the cricket board's "disciplinary" decision and said that the goal of national players should not be to play only in commercial leagues.
