A court in Pakistan has indicted Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in embezzlement cases related to the handling of government gifts while he was prime minister.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): This accusation is another blow to Imran Khan, the deposed Prime Minister of Pakistan and his political party before the parliamentary elections on February 8, 2024.
According to the Associated Press news agency, Pakistani officials say that Bushra Bibi, wife of Imran Khan, did not accept the charges when they were read in a court in the city of Rawalpindi.
Imran Khan's legal team confirmed the charges against him and his wife in the cases filed by the National Audit Office; Imran Khan has been accused of keeping the gifts he received during his prime ministership, including some jewelry from Saudi Arabia.
Imran Khan was removed from his position following a vote of no confidence by the Parliament of Pakistan in April 2022.
He, who is 71 years old, is considered the most famous political figure of the opposition of Pakistan and is currently in prison on charges of corruption, and of course, several other cases have been brought against him.
