The head of Russia's Belgorod region announced that Ukrainian armed forces bombarded a village in this region with cluster munitions.

Following US President Joe Biden's decision to send cluster bombs to Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an interview that Russia has "sufficient stockpiles" of cluster munitions and warned that Moscow has "the right to retaliate" Ukraine reserves the right to use these types of weapons.

Russian President said his country had enough cluster munitions to answer if Ukraine was to use the weapons, in an interview published on Sunday.

The Biden administration will provide cluster munitions to Ukraine,and Kyiv has promised to use the controversial weapons carefully.
