The Afghan currency is among the most stable currencies in the world
Officials in the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan say that based on the economic policy of the caretaker government, the country's currency has been among the nine most stable currencies in the world in the last year.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said in a series of tweets: "Afghan currency, including nine currencies, has been stable and has been able to maintain its value against the dollar in the past year."
 
He has added that economic experts and the American publication Bloomberg have assessed that the Afghan currency has shown a lot of resistance during the past year.
 
In the picture tweeted by Mujahid, it is explained that the value of the Afghan currency has increased by 5.6% against the dollar in the past year. This is while the value of the Pakistani rupee against the dollar has decreased by nearly 37%.
 
In this picture, the Armenian dram has shown the greatest increase and the Lebanese lira has shown the greatest decrease against the dollar in the past year.
 
Meanwhile, Dr. Naeem Wardak, the spokesperson of the political office of the Islamic Emirate in Qatar, has written in a series of tweets that the Afghan currency has been able to maintain its stability based on the economic policy of the Islamic Emirate.
 
Officials of the Islamic Emirate are announcing the stability of the Afghani currency against the US dollar. At the same time last year, one dollar was exchanged for 102 Afghanis, while this morning, one dollar was traded for 89.80 Afghanis in Serai Shahzade, Kabul.
