Asif Durrani: America is using Pakistan
Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan has said that the United States is using Pakistan's airspace to attack Afghanistan based on UN resolutions.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Asif Durrani has asked the Taliban officials not to complain about this to the Pakistani government.

This is the first time that a Pakistani official confirms that the US is using its airspace to attack Afghanistan.

After the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, the US is said to have targeted Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the Al-Qaeda network, and several other points of this network in Kabul and Ghazni.

Officials of the Islamic Emirate, including the Minister of Defense, have said several times that Afghanistan's space has been "occupied" until now.

But Asif Durrani, the special representative of Pakistan, in an interview with Tahir Khan, a reporter of "Pashto 1" TV channel, said that the UN resolution to suppress the Al-Qaeda network is still applicable.

He added that the authorities of the Islamic Emirate should not complain about why American drones use Pakistan's airspace to cross into Afghanistan's airspace.

Pakistan's special representative for Afghanistan said: "The whole world is committed to the resolutions of 1998 and 1999. We should not be blamed. Unless this resolution is changed."

This senior Pakistani diplomat added that the same resolutions gave the US permission to attack Ayman al-Zawahiri, the former leader of al-Qaeda network in Shirpur neighborhood of Kabul and Osama bin Laden, the founder of this network in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

Mr. Durrani has emphasized that the Islamic Emirate "was not and cannot be the hand of Pakistan." "Every Afghan is free," he said. This is not the case in the history of Afghanistan. When Karzai was the president, he also talked about freedom, while he was eating at the hands of America. Similarly, others came. When their interests were harmed, he spoke up."

Asif Durrani also added: "The solution to Afghanistan's problem was not in the hands of Pakistan, but I ask them, what you did for the interests of Pakistan?" They gave way to India and another front appeared against us, and India was giving money to Tehreek-e-Taliban and Baloch fighters.
