The Prime Minister of Niger: The French ambassador has no place in our country
The Prime Minister of Niger, Mohammad El Amin Zain, who was elected to this position by the military council of this country, demanded the immediate departure of the French ambassador from this country.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mohammad Al-Amin Zain, the Prime Minister appointed by Niger's military council, said in a press conference on Monday: "The presence of French troops in Niger is illegal and the French ambassador has no place in our country."
 
"Mohammed El-Amin Zain" also emphasized that the sanctions against Niger are unjustified, adding that we are doing our best to overcome the sanctions imposed on us by many countries.
 
The Prime Minister of Niger further noted: All investigations regarding the "Mohammed Bazum" regime will be referred to the competent courts and we will not interfere in these procedures.
 
On Wednesday, (July 26), Niger's presidential guard forces arrested the country's president, Muhammad Bazoum, inside the presidential palace on charges of corruption, complicity with the West, and indifference to poverty, and then removed him from his position.
 
In recent days, the people of Niger, by holding demonstrations, while declaring their support for the military council of this country, have demanded the withdrawal of French troops from Niger.
