Islamabad should reconsider its decision to deport Afghan refugees by November 1
Siraj-ul-Haq, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has asked the government of this country to reconsider its decision to set a deadline of November 1 to deport illegal Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to Express Tribune, Siraj-ul-Haq stated this issue on Saturday, October 9, 2023, at the meeting of Jamaat-e-Islami's Afghanistan Affairs Committee in Peshawar.
 
Siraj-ul-Haq, the head of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has warned the country's interim government that a hasty decision to deport Afghan refugees by November 1 will increase the differences between the two countries.
 
He asked the government of this country to reconsider its decision to set a deadline of November 1 to deport illegal Afghan refugees living in Pakistan.
 
Siraj-ul-Haq emphasized the long-standing and historical relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan and likened these relations to "twin brothers" who share the same culture and religion.
 
Siraj-ul-Haq has also emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two countries in the field of creating a comprehensive plan for the peaceful evacuation of Afghan refugees.
 
The head of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan has also asked the Islamic Emirate to cooperate with Islamabad in the fight against terrorism.
 
It should be mentioned that the interim government of Pakistan has announced that it will deport Afghan refugees from this country by the end of this month.
 
This is despite the fact that earlier the United Nations also opposed this decision of the Pakistani government and asked Islamabad to stop the forced departure of Afghan refugees.
